Congratulation to the GREEN MACHINE. Brent and Steven Carley, Jason McGee and Mark Lusty.
It was a closely fought battle with the Odd Bunch. The winners decision was based upon who won when the two teams played each other, as the number of games, points etc were all tied.
Thanks to everyone for helping out. In particular Anish for running the competition again, Ben Young for music and vegies for the Lovo, Dean Jamieson for his work cooking the Lovo and Selwyn Phillips for supplying a lamb. Ashil, Anneka and Jim on the bar, Peter, Melita, Debbie, Eric, Joy and Anil and his wife getting the food prepared on Friday night.

Summer Doubles Prizegiving |

The theme for the finals night (Saturday 20/02/2010) is Fijian Nite. Dinner shall be Fijian Lovo and music on the night shall be provided by Ben Young.
We will need helpers earlier in the day to setup the Lovo and prepare the food. Please let Anish know if you can help.

Summer Doubles Tuesdays and Thursdays- view the Draw, Teams and Results. The Franklin Squash Club Summer Doubles Squash competition kicks off again on Tuesday 18/01/2010. The Finals shall be on Saturday 20th February.
Aside from the Doubles Shield for the winning team, there shall be heaps of other prizes plus food & entertainment on the finals night. |
